I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University. I have a secondary appointment in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division in the Department of Medicine. I completed two postdoctoral trainings in the Koch Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2021-2024) and the Center for Functional Nanomaterials at Brookhaven National Laboratory (2017-2021). I received my Ph.D. in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London; B.S. and M.S. in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Cheng Kung University. I enjoy learning about transformative technologies and new techniques and have served as a reviewer for papers and national lab user proposals in biotechnology, nanomaterials, and soft matter.
